Malcolm Turnbull. From the vault...

THE left are reluctant to admit it but they're pretty rapt Malcolm Turnbull's the Liberal Party's new Head Boy.
We've got a bit of a soft spot for Big Aussie Mal. It all started when he was the head of the Australian Republican Movement and how he went in swinging during the 1999 convention. I know, fat lot of good that did, but still, for a blue blood he gave it a red-hot go.
Despite his "arrogance" we're a bit smitten with Turnbull's "progressiveness". Progressiveness is not a word that jumps to mind when we think of the Liberals. Or merchant bankers. Or middle-aged, middle-class white guys called Malcolm.

Not just that, for a short while he was actually the only man in parliament with a Climate Change Policy. Lower House anyway.
Plus he has a blog from the perspective of the life of his dogs. Roleplaying is all the rage with the kids nowadays. Kids are lefties. It all works out.
